يقع المسرح الروماني في منطقة كوم الدكة، ويُعد من أبرز المعالم الأثرية في الإسكندرية 🇪🇬
The Roman Amphitheatre, located in Kom El-Dikka, is one of Alexandria’s most iconic archaeological sites.

تم بناؤه في القرن الرابع الميلادي، وكان يستخدم في البداية كقاعة للمحاضرات.
It was built in the 4th century AD and initially served as a lecture hall for elite scholars.

اكتُشف صدفة عام 1960 أثناء الحفر بحثًا عن مقبرة الإسكندر الأكبر! 😲
It was discovered accidentally in 1960 during a search for Alexander the Great’s tomb!

🏗️ التصميم المعماري | Architectural Design

يتكوّن المسرح من 13 صفًا رخاميًا نصف دائري يتسع لحوالي 600 شخص.
The theatre consists of 13 semi-circular marble rows that can seat around 600 spectators.

الصوتيات فيه مذهلة – تقدر تسمع أي كلمة مهما كانت همسة! 🎶
Its acoustics are brilliant – you can hear a whisper from the stage across the entire space!

تحيط به أعمدة رخامية وتيجان كورنثية، مع آثار لحمامات وقاعات دراسية.
Surrounded by marble columns and Corinthian capitals, it’s also home to remnants of Roman baths and lecture halls.
